Be Yourself

Now is the perfect time for our second wave of seniors. In just a few short months, we will be preparing for graduation. SENIORS '08!! We will be sad to say goodbye to our '08 senior reps. They have really done a great job for us.

This will be our last senior special of the year. The postcards will go out this weekend, so if you call now, you will get a jump on everyone else. Appointment times are limited, so call today. Remember, the more fun you have, the more fun we have. The first 5 seniors to call and schedule their appointment will get 8 free wallets. And be sure to tell us if one of our senior reps sent you... they deserve the credit!!

My Models

Thank you to all of my modesl!! Wow, what a weekend. We started at 9:15 on Saturday and didn't finish until Sunday evening. We photographed about 20 snow fairies and snowmen. It was a blast. I wish I could post all of the "out-takes". The kids really have great personalities.

For those of you who haven't been following, we sent a letter to a select few of our current clients requesting models for our upoming "Snow Fairy and Snowman" promotion. It is a limited edition special which is coming up on Feb. 2nd. We needed some samples to put in our advertising and newsletter. It was crazy! There were kids everwhere. Here are some of the images. They are amazing. Much better than I ever thought. We are now booking for Feb. 2nd, so if you or someone you know is interested, give me a call to schedule your time.

What's next?

During our prime time of the year, when everything is going at warp speed, there is always the thought of January and February. Those are the months when most photographers have their "down time". That's what keeps us going 7 days a week for 2 months. DOWN TIME!! However, once January arrives, we realize that there is no down time. We spend a couple of days cleaning out closets, hard drives, filing paperwork and backing up everything we just did for the last 3 months. Then, we immediately start to think... what's next? Oh, my gosh, I need to write my newsletter, prepare my 2008 marketing plan, and WOW, it's time for Valentines day!

Forget the stacks of paper on my desk, the accounting that needs to be updated, the dreaded "need to read" box, and the last 3 issues of Professional Photographer magazine I want to go through. I need to plan some special events for my clients. They are counting on me to come up with some awesome ideas to capture their families before their kids are another year older. So, I dig in my thinking box and pull out an idea that I have been wanting to put together since my daughter was born 4 years ago. It is an awesome idea and I can't wait to share it with you! I have sent out letters to a few select families to serve as models. I had an overwhelming response. Which just tells me that I have been neglecting all of my little tot clients. I'm sorry for that, but I think this will make it up to you. Watch our blog and our specials page of our website for more detials. P.S. the Limited Edition special I'm referring to will be on Feb. 2nd. Mark your calendars and watch your email for details.

Rebecca and JoJo's Wedding

Last week was a blast. I had the opportunity to photograhy Rebecca and JoJo's wedding and reception at Maggiano's Little Italy Restaurant. Rebecca is the little sister of one of my past brides. Aside from the gorgeous couple, the feeling of that resturant was elegant, beautiful and very romantic. Every little detail was perfected. There were rose petals that lined the aisle that Rebecca walked down. JoJo is a very lucky man. Here are a few of my favorite images.
